The food is 5 stars always... but as far as the togo ordering don't expect good service if it's busy. I rarely get my food at the promised time when it's busy. But I love Cafe Rio I'll come back always!!
I will not return to this cafe Rio ever. Customer service was so poor I asked simple questions and they all seemed annoyed and like none of them wanted to work or help me. I ordered a sweet pork burrito and a shredded beef burrito the girls couldn't tell the difference they kept sticking there fingers in the burrito and getting them confused. I think that is nasty find a better way to tell what kind of Burttio it is. And hire some employees that will actually appreciate there jobs!!!
I rarely write a bad review, but felt I must. First off I will say I would take Costa Vida over Cafe Rio hands down. That being said this is the worst Cafe Rio location. As others have said they are out of something every time. They are extremely slow at lunch hour. The quality always seems low compared to other locations as well. Unfortunately North Ogden continues to lack quality eating establishments and this one lives up to that.
This location has PROBLEMS! Anything you order they are out of something EVERY SINGLE TIME! If this happened once I wouldn't write it. If it happened twice I would have given 3 stars. But no, this is the 4th time I've tried ordering from this disaster of a place.
When it first opened the food was good. Now the food isn't up to par like it used to be. Rice under cooked on quite a few occasions. Cashier was friendly but the guy who made my last order treated his coworkers rudely. If the standards aren't raised then it will probably become a vacant space in a strip mall. I think management needs to provide better training and the employees that aren't team players let go.
