Good party with short nature trails you can go on. They are very short.
I use Oaklawn park to teach local plants to Boy Scouts. A wealth of info there
This park has a small stream, and a little hike. On the small hike there are a variety of small fruit trees. There is also a bet for volleyball or badminton. Play, hike, snack, chill. It's hidden away in a quiet neighborhood.
This place was awesome all growing up for frisbee and nerf wars. We even shot a few films and did a few dates in the wooded area. In fact, that's where I did my high school grad pics and they turned out awesome!
Words can't adequately describe just how awesome this place is. It has the world's greatest wooded picnic area with a stream running past it, two bridges to run across (very handy to keep little feet dry), kids playground equipment, and beautiful playing fields for sports. Honestly I could go on and on about this place, but just know, if you are thinking about checking this place out, do it!
