Lee's is a great place to shop. Its family friendly environment make it fun to take our gang with us when we go. They have healthy snacks for the kids and finding the badger to get a treat is always a fun thing. The prices are nice as well.
Lee's is a great local grocery store with a solid selection, great produce, and an excellent bakery. Their customer service is terrific as well. That said, what keeps me from shopping there more regularly is the parking lot. The parking lot in the Lee's shopping center is one of the most frustrating parking lots I've ever used. The lot is difficult to navigate, inefficient, and seems unable to accommodate the many businesses and restaurants that share the space. If the parking lot was blacked over and repainted to better accommodate the surrounding businesses, I would probably shop there much more frequently. As it is now, I usually shop at the nearby Smith's Marketplace, primarily for the ease of parking.
On the other hand, if I'm needing to go in to the PHARMACY part of this store, that is where the "High Rating" drops drastically. For me, this is very disheartening because I have no other options as to where I can get my medications filled. Now, keep in mind that this is my opinion based on my interactions & experiences with the pharmacy employees (& it has only been bad like this for the past year or so, basically since a certain Pharmacist has left). That man (Pharmacist), was a very talented, compassionate, smart, & MOST KIND MAN I have ever encountered in my life, & all because that was just who he was. Letting that man go, was one of the biggest mistakes upper management has made, & has led to a big negative downfall in the pharmacy. Now, I feel nothing but judgment & labels as of current. I think they could use another course in employee/customer interactions, or just basic human decency.....
I have very mixed feelings about Lee's. If I'm going there to just do a little grocery shopping, or run in & grab an item real quick, then ya...I love this place. It has a very small town, county type atmosphere (you know the type where you feel like you're at a family members "MA & PA SHOP"). It's comfortable there & the employees treat you really good. The customer service is awesome, cause they seem to be so eager to help you with anything you may need, & it really says something when they remember you every time you come back. I really love that about this place, because it's becoming a very rare important attribute now a days.
Always clean and well-stocked. Friendly staff. Good pharmacy. Lee's always had good weekly sales. They also boast the best donuts of any grocery store.
The store is extremely mediocre. Nothing stands out at all. Prices are a bit higher than average. One redeeming factor is discounted milk on Wednesdays. Overall Smith's is nicer and offers more products.
